The idea of the grandfather was an interesting flourish. It's not visual though, and hopping to a flashback in the middle of a suspenseful sequence will suck all the energy out of the scene.

I can see you trying in this reflection to try to redeem yourself. It's a valiant effort, but it's too little, too late. You still have trouble moving beyond summary, and I have no need to know the things we did in class. It's very secondary school to assume this is testing to see if you're paying attention; i'm testing you to see how you analyze and process this information so it will be beneficial to you later in life.

Subject 1: Leonard Ng
Subject 2:Ng Hock wee

Leonard is going to dad's place for a visit , despite the fact that he is laden with work that requirre his immediate attention. He plans the day ahead on his pda, detailing the to do's and number he has to call when he gets home after the visit. While waiting for for his bus, he meets Hock wee, his cousin and is surprised to see him there as usually he is absent from these small family gatherings. His cousin is surprised to see him taking a bus, as Leonard has a car and usually drives to work.Leonard explains that if there is a chance that he can save, he would, and not because he is a miser, but actually he is saving for his own son's education.
